In My Heart's Memory
Stephen Sandoval, NYC

Strange as I look at old emails.
I think about you, about us.
We were younger and carefree.
Such friends even eight months ago.
Havta remind myself that I wish you the best.
Your eVoice is still very loud on page.
I can hear the music that we danced to.
I can taste the cake we had at your birthday.
I wonder if you ever stop to think of me.
Is it vain to want to know that you think of us a little?
I'll retire for the evening for now that I might wake up safe again
To replicate the joy of the memory of you in my heart.
